Chosen the 1950/60’s period because I believe this was one of the pinnacle points when Jazz Guitarists reached to exceptional levels in terms of musicality, technique and inventiveness.

A Personal Viewpoint - in that I have selected the Guitarists and what aspects of their playing to highlight. I believe that every musician has some aspect of their playing which they are particularly good at and to this end I have highlighted that aspect in each of these players.
